KEBAB. Aaah yes, the cheapskate’s escape from Hunger. Go to Madrid, Amsterdam, Pau, or London and you’ll find kebab stalls in major tourist spots and dirty, dark alleys. A huge pita bread with chicken or beef meat, shreds of lettuce, onions and cabbage, a chunk of tomato or cucumber, a lump of fries or cheese — YUM! But everything in moderation though, one might vomit after too much kebab. But who can resist at only 2-4 euros when European prices are astronomical?
