ITALY: One of the most wonderful, beautiful, and gastronomically delightful countries I have ever visited! When we went to Florence last October 2009, all we could ever think was the whole city was a moving Renaissance painting. Great minds like Dante Alighieri, Michaelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci had resided over this world-famous place. Add to that list would be Salvatorre Ferragamo, Gucci and Roberto Cavalli who constantly shaped fashion as we know today.
It was a blah after 2 days if all you’ve done is visit museums (Crucify us, we are art aficionado-wannabes!). But the rewarding thing is tasting the glorious culinary masterpieces that were Florentine steak, pizza capricciosa and Vivoli gelato. Firenze is perfect for lovers, if you think Venice would be too cliche.
A sociocultural examination of the world. Or maybe it's just a traditional blog where I can record travel experiences because it would be shame to forget them.
