We were dead set on not entering this enormous palace because it costs about 8 euros (560 pesos) to enter. But then, Adrian convinced us to splurge since this spot is ranked number 1 among the top sights in Madrid. After hours of contemplation, we decided it’d be a shame to leave this Spanish capital without the taste of royalty. What practically eased my woes was I was only charged 3 euros because of the student’s discount! I brought my Ateneo ID with me, and it never failed to save me from spending a few hundred pesos more. :) Madrid,  le echo de menos!
